what are the prices to just enter? How do i get into a beauty pageant?
Hey!
I know what to do....I just got into one!
Okay, so usually, you have to attend an information session. Most information sessions are by invitations only. After you go to the I.S, then you will get a call to see if you got selected or not. I got my call about 4 days after the session.
I think most I.S are free, but if you get selected, you need to pay from 100 dollars to 1000. You are supposed to get sponsors, like doctors, dentists, etc. You also need to buy or rent a fancy dress. The pageant I got into was for Casual wear and Formal wear, so I need to go out and get a dress.....
I can't give you a website because I don't know where you live. It depends on where you live....email me your city, and I could try to find one for you.How do i get into a beauty pageant?

I can't get the link to post, but copy and paste this address into your address bar and it will explain most aspects of pageants. Different definitions and stuff. Some thing that are not mentioned are
if it's a local or natural it may ask for age-approriate. That means for your age, no cleavage os slits in the dress.
If you dress is an evening gown, your hair should be in an updo. But make sure to leave curls spilling over. If it is a ballgown(which would be better) your hair should be down and possibly curled.
Search these pageants.

Once you find one, there are usually flyers for others set up at registration.
You can also do a web search on your state + beauty pageants.
Voy.com has forums set up so you can pick the state and see upcoming listed pageants.
Most local pageants cost around $65 Sometimes you can find small ones for $25 - $45
Sunburst and other prelims(which lead to state) ususlly run about $65- $85.
Once you hit nationals you are talking$300- $500 just in beauty and supreme. Thats not counting optionals(prettiest eyes, most beautiful, etc) or your dress, or photogenic and on and on. The nationals are very expensive and competitive. You may or may not want to go that far. But you can stop at any level you want. Just have fun. GOOD LUCK!!!

Its a lot of fun and after you do it the first time, you know what to expect and what to do next time.
Go on the website and request an application.
They hold this pageant for mainly every state.
After they send the application, just fill it out and send it back.
For this pageant, the entry fee is $440, but you can do fundraising, and get sponsors to help you participate,
It is really a great experience.
I have actually been a many beauty pageants. There are many place to enter - you could enter a local pageant - which aren't that expensive or a nationally credited pageant which could range from 100 dollars to 1000 (with the dress and entry fee) If you have any local dress shops that sell like prom and pageant dresses they usually have entry forms for local pageants for your area - just remember start small and don't get discouraged if you don't win the first time you do it. _ Just keep trying! Hope this helped :-)
