What is the meaning of education if you can get enough money with luck (and beauty)?

i am a kind of girl who value education highly and i think that education is 1 thing people in whole around the world must have in life.





my friend said no to my thinking and said that education is not a big deal as long as you have luck, beauty, and the capability of making money.





she said we lived to enjoy, so just dont bother about education, find a perfect man (which is in her mind is a RICH man), shop a lot, live like you have million dollars, and enjoy the life.





now i find it that people with high education dont always get enough money in their lives compared to those who are lucky, like actors, actresses, and so on..


my questions are :





what is actually the most essential thing about education?


is it more paramount than money?


if it is, why?


if it is not, why?What is the meaning of education if you can get enough money with luck (and beauty)?
Education is for you yourself. Education is all about forming your mind, improving your judgment.





Actresses and athletes have only a couple of decades before they hit the wall. By that time, they had better have a lot of savings, previous good managers, and good compliance on their taxes. What's sadder than a child star grown up? An aging babe? A boxer who came out of retirement one too many times?





Study what you love. Nothing is more toxic than the ';friend'; who asks: What's your major? Oh. Well. I guess you can always teach it. If you go to college, fall in love with the school you go. You're going to be there the four most important years of your life.





Women who marry for money find that they must earn it.

yes it is more paramount then money. Why? Because in education you are using your brain instead of your looks. You need alot of knowledge in today's world. Yes you need money to get by, But you also need your brains. You need that in order to make money.You don't have to find a rich husband in order to get rich. Marry the man for him, Not his money. Yes enjoy life, But don't live it selfishly. Just enjoy knowing what you know, and just being who you are! -SMILE and a -WINK 2 u-!!!!
Beauty fades. Money can disappear due to bankruptcy or medical bills. Education is something no one can ever take away from you.





People with college degrees and higher education tend to make more money than those without. Your friend doesn't sound too smart to me. Relying on a rich man, you will ';earn'; every penny.





Than what if this rich man, leaves her in 10 years for a younger and better model? Then, what is she?

I don't know about everyone else, but I like to know things. I like to learn, I like to discover, I like to create. Not just to grow up and get a good job, but for myself, because life isn't full if you're not doing those things for yourself.





However, there are probably some people who wouldn't value education if they could make money and live a decent life without it.
You can get more honest respect with education. If your choices make you what you are to become, what are they becoming. The essence of education is your becoming. Is your human essence a stranger to you.
the most essential thing about education is that u will be able to live your life and know that somehow you can do something to create better life and better world for people.
