The alcohol which we drink is actually made up of several kinds of alcohol, but is mostly ethyl alcohol. I would be willing to bet that most makeups, colognes, perfumes, etc. use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).Is the alcohol in beauty products the same as the drinking alcohol?
It is really not worth trying. It could be ethanol but it could also be any number of toxic alcohols.
