that aside, i think beauty pageants for children are STUPID!!!


let the child be a child, not some whacked out poofy haired clown makeup fancy dress human dollWhat do you think of child beauty pageants?
If I thought the child was actually enjoying it, I'd be okay with it. But if I thought for one minute the child was being forced to do so because a parent insisted, I'd object, no questions asked. Child beauty pageants should be like any other hobby or interest a child has--the child should be interested and having fun with it. Otherwise it turns into exploitation not to mention being forced to do something being wrong. I strongly object to any person (including children) being forced to do things. If a parent isn't mature enough to teach, lead, guide, or persuade a child into things the child should do they weren't ready to be parents. Do I think a parent should bribe/threaten/blackmail/coerce a child into things? No. Persuasion should never be confused with bribery, nor should persuasion against a child's will be confused with what a child is interested in etc...Respect should begin at home. What do you think of child beauty pageants?
i think that there are some children that are so beautiful that they should flaunt it, and it is nice to know their parents think that they are so gorgeous that they be models!


but, i think that it does send the wrong message, especially as the children get older and become more aware of their bodies.

It was at a country fair, and I just entered him for the fun of it, no I didnt put makeup on him, no he doesnt have a big ego, and no I havent joined him up in modelling, it was just for fun.





they dont have the big pagents like they do in america here in New Zealand where I live, and if they did, I wouldnt let my children enter. I dont like the wayt those things work. but I see nothing wrong with kids modelling.
I think that the children participants are what their parents aren't and the parents should look at what they are actually doing to their children - I personally think child beauty pageants are a sick, legal abuse of children. God Bless.
I think children should be praised for things that they have worked on and achieved for themselves. Not for having stood like a dolly while mum paints their face and dresses them.
Just let the child be a child not dress them up as mini grown up.We don't

in moderation its fun but when it is all the baby eats,sees,says,sleeps something is wrong

i think there terrible and teach girls all the wrong things when their little, just let them be a kid!
