How is jane eyre like cinderella or beauty and the beast?

Well, she's taken from a lowly place in society where (Cinderella like) she's orphaned and has no (biological) father/mother.





She's then put into service of the Rochester house where she (Belle like) grabs the attention of the socially elite Mr. Rochester. Jane's intelligence is one of the reasons why Mr. Rochester likes her so much.





Like both Princess's, Jane Eyre was taken from a poor place in society to a weathy place by their eventual marriage.How is jane eyre like cinderella or beauty and the beast?
Well, i don't feel that jane eyre is like cindrella or beauty in the beauty and the beast....It's not a fairy tale in the least...Jane eyre gives us an insight into the life of a poor young girl who has no one to take care of, how she strives to live despite all her misfortunes and finally how she gets to know the truth..and thereafter becomes happy ;( the only similarity i can find find with Cindrella or the Beauty in Beauty and the beast..)





PS: Jane Eyre is one of my favourite books....
