Why do People think Beauty is Universally Defined?

When a person has a preference for what some may not consider attractive, why is that person thought to be lying? Beauty is not universally defined; it varies by culture, time period, socioeconomic status, and personal preference. Why do People think Beauty is Universally Defined?
Because most people never have a single original thought a day in their life and only claim to find the cultural standard of beauty attractive because someone on TV told them to. Independent thoughts and opinions frighten and confuse them, so you must be lying. Why do People think Beauty is Universally Defined?
Because beauty has been and will forever be defined by who is on the top of the totem pole so to speak and that goes along with race and social status, etc.

Sad but true.

And if a person doesn't think the same narrowminded way as everyone else they are considered to have a fetish.
That's white people for ya.

I'm white myself but black
