Hannya Demon Mask - I do love it, but wonder what is the meaning of me (a woman) hanging one on the wall in her apartment. Where should I hang it and what's the reason? thank you so much - i loved Japan.I bought one in Japan, but why would I display this? Is there a reason people display them outside of beauty?
It represents a woman's jealousy (it is the form of a female demon)... I don't think it will symbolize much on you, being a decoration and all... but Japanese men who come to your house, might be amused to see you have it.
I would probably hang it in the living room, above a mantle or TV.
