I get a monthly newsletter email from Carmindy, the makeup stylist on What Not to Wear, and it always has good tips and product recommendations. If you do a search for What Not to Wear, you should find it.Where can u find really good makeup and beauty secrets?
Go to any mall and you should find a M.A.C makeup counter and schedule an appointment to get a make over and ask the artist for tips and they will tell you what to buy to create the look they gave you at home!!!!

Whatever kind of makeup you use or are planning to use go to their website they should help you find the right colors and what to use (ex. concealer, powder, liquid, etc.) and how to apply it.
Mary kay's website has make up tips on how to apply it. Check out mags like cosmo or glamour they always have make up tricks in them. As far as good make up. personally I think clinique is the best. But avon has some more affordable items that work nicely also if your on a budget.

Also pick like some of the brands of makeup that you like and go to thier website..places like www.lorealparis.com or www.bonnebell.com, any kind of brand usually has a website. I do that all the time when im bored and end up finding great stuff!
You could go to a makeup artist at a salon. It's expensive but they'll help you.
